Katie transitioned to Travelocity in November 2006 after seven years with Sabre, and currently manages hotel accounts in the Central American market. While at Sabre, she was a Business Consultant for Sabre Travel Network based in Costa Rica. Prior to joining the Sabre Holdings family, Katie worked for United Airlines.
During her time at Travelocity, Katie has been focused on developing the company's Green Directory in the region.
One of her achievements was including the ICT's certification program, the CST, as a certifier for the Green Directory. Costa Rica now holds a tab in Travelocity's Green Directory, providing even more visibility for the product.
Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism from ULACIT, as well as an MBA specializing in marketing from the Universidad Interamericana in Costa Rica.
