We will be recognized as the chamber of tourism that leads and promotes the differentiation of sustainable tourism through the participation in public affairs, information and education for the responsible development of the tourism sector.
Planet, People, Peace is a very significant and important event for the tourism industry. It is an initiative that is an intrinsic part of the major effort by CANAECO to offer to companies, organizations, professionals and governmental agencies useful tools to convert tourism into an sustainable activity, as well as emphasizing the important role Costa Rica has assumed on a global scale, acting as a model for those countries that wish to implement sustainability as a fundamental foundation for the development of responsible tourism.
